My approach with my clients is to use a combination of the most cutting edge nervous system regulation techniques and years of my own experiences to bring them to full resilience and regulation, allowing them to both feel their best and perform at their best.

I know all too well what it’s like to feel unable to reach your full potential due to being blocked by symptoms of anxiety, chronic stress, past traumatic events, or feelings of burnout. The inability to be fully present can make even the smallest tasks feel challenging, let alone the ones that fully utilize your talents and capabilities.

I naturally came to this work alongside over 20 years of working in the music and entertainment industry as a composer and music producer for film, TV, and artists. I learned very well how deal with pressure at the highest levels of the entertainment industry and could deliver premium results under the most intense deadlines. But, though I was living my dream and working with the biggest movie studios in the world, my career always seemed to be accompanied by large feelings of anxiety and periods of major burnout, no matter how successful I found myself and no matter how well I could execute the work. This was extremely frustrating!

Things came to a head twice: first, in 2013, where I found myself the most anxious I had ever been and couldn’t push through it like I usually did. This lead to finding meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy. They were both helpful (especially the meditation), got me working more normally again, and gave me good tools to have on hand to manage my feelings.

Then, in 2018, when I was feeling quite good but still struggling with some focus issues, I decided to try neurofeedback to improve that area. Unfortunately, I responded poorly to it, and suddenly found all of my anxieties/fears/and other challenges right back at the surface, louder than they had ever been.

I was extremely fortunate to find nervous system regulation and somatic therapies at this point, and what they quickly showed me was that, while I had learned to manage my “issues” well, that’s what it was - management. My nervous system was still living in old protective patterns that had never actually been resolved.

Through this regulation work I was able to bring a sense of safety into myself that I had never had before, and this allowed me to start unwinding decades of living in a fight or flight state that my nervous system had learned before I was even aware of what was happening, It finally got the attention it needed to start to let go.

I quickly got back to functioning, and, over time, built a sense of resilience and presence that I had never had before. I learned to actually be in the moment without forcing it. finally able to feel more fully like myself and perform at my best without being hijacked by nervous system.

My passion now is helping others find that same resilience, whether it’s as a high performing athlete looking to bring more flow into their game so they can succeed at the highest level possible, an executive or doctor dealing with burnout, a musician who wants to be able to navigate the industry with less stress so that they can produce their most meaningful work, or anyone just wanting more ease and to feel better in their daily life.
